A castle in Kilkenny
The four editors of this blog have a special relationship with the so-called Emerald Island. Ireland He has welcomed us in different periods of our lives and one of them, Sergi, continues to live there and has a wife and Celtic children. I personally spent more than 8 years there and consider it my second home. It is a country that has given me a lot and modeled, in large part, the personality I have now.
Ireland is a country worth visiting and here I am going to give you five reasons to do it:
For me, who have traveled a lot and well, the issue of people who live in a country is one of the most powerful reasons to decide to visit. The Irish are awesome guys. At first they find it difficult to open a little, but still they are friendly and hospitable as in few other places. If you stay for a while in the area and live a little longer with them, you will realize that they are people of easy laughter and carefree.
The Irish have that fatalistic point typical of the inhabitants of a country that has suffered hardships and famines throughout its history. Their humor is acid and somewhat cynical and they love to direct it against themselves or their country.
They are also great drinkers and conversationalists. One thing usually goes hand in hand with the other because the harsh weather makes the hours spent in the heat of the pint in the pub more than those recommended by any doctor.
