Image of the day: The giant's road

The giant's road in Northern Ireland is a paradise for every geologist. It is also true for all nature lovers thanks to the curious basaltic formations that formed millions of years ago by the wild Atlantic Ocean.

On the other side, in Scotland, similar formations also exist and the legend tells that a giant wanted to join Scotland with Ireland with a cobblestone road so that he could easily travel through the two islands.
